Expectations of Trainees
We expect trainees to behave professionally and ethically at all times. Trainees will be required to sign a contract that clearly defines our expectations of them. Additionally, we expect trainees to embrace diversity and be accepting of ideas different from their own.
Our interns are required to attend the Internship Orientation before beginning the field experience.
Trainee Feedback and Support
There is an evaluation of the Internship program that students are asked to complete at the end of their internship. TESTIMONIALS
While doing my Clinical Psychology internship at Meadows of Hope . I gained a lot more insight into dealing and handling individuals with mental health issues through regular case conceptualisations and feedback . It helps to see different cases from new perspectives and not through just one single lens.

Constructive feedback, supervisors being open to questions and answering each question patiently, being encouraged to think out of the box , truly helped me in my training to be a counsellor.

The Meadows of Hope Clinical Psychology internship program is well structured with a series of experiential learning activities: ranging from site visits, case discussions, case formulations and case analysis. It felt like a complete circle of things.

I liked the environment at Meadows of Hope, it was a professional and work oriented environment. I got the opportunity to learn various skills and techniques in counselling, more specifically creating an action and treatment plan.
